Ingredients

Salad

½ cabbage, finely shredded

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 Lebanese cucumber, diced

1 small red onion, finely sliced

1 x bunch coriander, chopped

1 bunch mint, chopped

200g Eye Fillet or Scotch Fillet Steak

Dressing

1 clove garlic, crushed

½ small red chilli, finely diced

1 tsp white sugar

0.5 tbsp sauce 

1 tsp sesame oil

2 Tbsp lime juice 

Method

  1. Combine dressing ingredients in a bowl or jar. Mix or shake to combine. Adjust to suit your taste needs. 
  2. Combine all salad ingredients in a large bowl. 
  3. Pan fry steaks until medium rare. Slice thinly and add to the salad. Add dressing and toss to combine gently.
