It’s affecting the way we work, the way we interact with the world around us, the way we look after our health. And, as you know, diabetes doesn’t take a break. It can be hard to know what to do, or where to find the right help and support during this time. Whether it is managing your diabetes, looking after your mental health or finding ways to stay physically active while self-isolating, we’ve got you covered. This means staying connected to your health care team and keeping up with your regular health appointments and accessing urgent medical care if you need it. We might be spending more time at home but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be Be Healthy and get regular physical activity and eat well. The Federal Government is strongly supporting Australians to stay active and exercise daily, as long as the activity is consistent with social distancing guidelines. Being active and eating well is more important than ever to keep you in good health. It can be tempting to spend more time on the couch. But the extra time many of us are now finding in our day is a great opportunity to spend more time preparing healthy meals and building exercising into our new daily routines.
